My emotional blender

May 4th

Dear diary.
It was a pretty overwhelming feeling havint to do my "first class alone". Teacher Elvia, who's my tutor, gave me space free to manage what i planned for this class, even though i wanted tgo do different kinds of things i couldn't due to me just happen to know them. I started to acknowledge some tricky things going in the classroom i'll have to analyze deeply and come to a accurate way to manage it. I'll be updating this soon, keep in touch! 

May 11th

Dear diary.
Kids are so lovely, even though not all of them are willing to, they are so participative and receptive that surprises me a little. They love my Hug, HI5, Wave signals and teacher Elvia did too, she gave lots of input letting me know how much she like my group management; i'm nervous but excited for my upcoming class. Keep in touch for my update! 

June 1st

Dear diary.
Today i made my first real class, for me, and i still feel very anxious about it. Talking in English with them seems a little risk, and i had some students telling me explicitly they didn't understood what we did in the class. On the other hand, i have really participative students that pay close attetion to what i say and give their best to copy me, i felt so relived when i heard them repeating and their pronunciation. I'm looking forward my next class, keepin touch! 

June 8th

Dear diary.
Today was horrible! I had to stop my class for some students to go dancing class outside the classroom, that being said, music was so loud i couldn't reach my students capacity to keep attention. I did my best to keep going with the class, kept with the explanation and repetition as usual, but at the end trying to test their knowledge i realized it wasn't as successful as i wanted it to be. Ended up with sore throat, headache and confused students. Next time is going to be better, keep in touch! 

June 15th

Dear diary.
Today i made a kind of review class, i redid every part of the last session because it wasn't a success at all and not every student showed up that day. I still had some difficulties with some students that are hard to manage, they are constantly behaving like i'm not the teacher saying they don't undertand and lying on the floor if "they feel sick", i'm trying my best to keep control of the class but they being many kids to handle at once it becomes tedious. Overall, it was a better class than before and kids were able to understand better what i wanted them to. Vacations are coming along, keep in touch and we'll see each other next time!

July 13th

Dear diary.
Today i made a kind of class compilation, with what we saw previous classes. I made myself explain once again the topic we saw before, the reason is in vacations they didn't have the opportunity to practice, and as they are kids they tend to forget what they don't practice, I try to make different activities even though is the same topic. I think i'm doing Kids were happy to do mimics following the according vocabulary. We are closed to an end, keep in touch to see the results of this travel!  

July 27th

Dear diary.
Today i had my first virtual class, i gave myself into it with what i could do in a short time. I made a review class, and we practice some new vocabulary to keeo them active with what we have being learning. It was a new experience but i still don't know how to deal with it completely, i need to get more involve in the kind of activities to implement for this classes. I don't think we will be able to meet soon enough, but keep in touch if neccesary!
